About the Role
The Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) - Enterprise Software development team is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software products for JASSM, providing targeting and strike planning solutions. This role involves participating in the entire engineering lifecycle, developing web-based applications, and backend business logic within a fast-paced team environment supporting a critical mission.
Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software products for JASSM to provide targeting and strike planning solutions.
- Focus on the development of web-based applications and backend business logic.
- Participate in the entire engineering life cycle.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Software development experience using programming or scripting languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and/or Confluence.
- Strong software design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline (Desired).
- Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular (Desired).
- Experience with software databases such as Microsoft SQL (Desired).
- Experience building and deploying software for defense mission systems (Desired).
- Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture (Desired).
- Active Secret security clearance (Desired).
