Web Development Intern

About the Role

Heydoc Pediatrics is seeking a motivated, creative, and tech-savvy Web Development & Digital Content Intern. This role is ideal for individuals interested in websites, AI-powered tools, digital content development, and creative software. The intern will contribute to website maintenance, game localization, and promotional material creation, making games accessible to a broader international audience. No advanced programming skills are required; comfort with learning new software, problem-solving, independent work, and creative technology use is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Maintenance & Updates
• Assist with updating website content, text, images, links, and other digital assets.
• Help improve the website’s layout, organization, usability, and overall presentation.
• Upload and organize content, games, and promotional materials.
• Identify website issues and assist with troubleshooting and improvements.
• Help keep website information accurate, current, and engaging.
• AI-Assisted Game Localization & Language Development
• Use AI-powered software and translation tools to adapt online games into additional languages.
• Assist with translating game instructions, questions, answers, menus, and other in-game content.
• Review AI-generated translations for accuracy, consistency, readability, and cultural appropriateness.
• Help implement and organize language options within games and the website.
• Test games in different languages to identify formatting issues, errors, or inconsistencies.
• Research AI tools and workflows for efficient multilingual content development.
• Graphic Design & Promotional Materials
• Use Canva and similar design tools to create promotional graphics, social media posts, website banners, and other marketing materials.
• Help develop visually appealing materials to promote games and digital content.
• Resize and adapt graphics for different platforms and audiences.
• Assist with maintaining consistent branding, colors, fonts, and visual styles.
• Digital Tools & Content Organization
• Use Google Workspace tools (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) to organize content, track projects, and collaborate.
• Maintain spreadsheets for translations, game content, website updates, and project progress.
• Research new AI software, productivity tools, and digital platforms to improve workflow.
• Assist with other website, content development, and digital projects as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Basic experience with Canva or similar graphic design and content creation tools.
• Interest in website management, digital content, and online games.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research, generation, editing, and organization of content.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks.
• Willingness to learn new software, follow instructions, and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to review AI-generated content critically.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with JavaScript programming concepts.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with website builders, content management systems, or website administration.
• Experience using AI tools for translation, localization, content generation, or coding assistance.
• Familiarity with other design tools, such as Adobe Express or similar applications.
• Experience with multilingual content, proofreading, or translation.
• Interest in educational games, interactive content, or international audiences.
