Cyber Security Engineer

About the Role

Dexterz Technology is offering a 3-month remote Cybersecurity Internship Program for college students. The program focuses on building industry-relevant skills through practical security exercises and project-based learning in areas such as Ethical Hacking, Cybersecurity, and SOC Operations. No previous internship experience is required; beginners with basic technical knowledge are welcome.

What You'll Work On

• Explore Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing in authorized lab environments.
• Learn vulnerability assessment and network security fundamentals.
• Work with tools such as Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, and Burp Suite.
• Explore SOC Operations, Threat Detection & Security Monitoring.
• Analyze security findings, prepare reports, and complete cybersecurity projects.

Qualifications

• College students pursuing B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc., MCA, or related programs.
• Students interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or defensive security.
• Enthusiastic learners with problem-solving skills and a willingness to explore new technologies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of networking, Linux, or Python is beneficial, not mandatory.
• Tools: Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite.
