About the Role
Synectics Inc. is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Civil Defense Litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to motions and legal memoranda.
- Conduct comprehensive background investigations.
- Organize and manage meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses.
- Perform detailed legal research to support case strategies.
- Analyze and review medical records.
- Write clear and concise case analyses and reports.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
- Admission to the Missouri Bar is required.
- Illinois Bar admission is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to write and present well-reasoned legal arguments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload effectively.
- Effective team player with a collaborative approach.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
