About EngineersMind

EngineersMind builds AI-powered software for regulated industries, including insurance, healthcare, wealth management, and enterprise customer experience.

The Role

This opportunity is designed for MBA graduates looking to launch a career in enterprise AI sales, with a path toward Account Executive, Partnerships, or Strategy roles. As a Business Development Associate, you will convert marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into sales-qualified opportunities (SQLs). You will apply your business training to understand customer challenges, develop compelling business cases, and engage decision-makers to generate qualified sales opportunities. You will receive structured training, direct coaching from company leadership, and firsthand exposure to how an AI company brings innovative products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound demand: Respond promptly to leads generated through webinars, marketing campaigns, events, and website inquiries. Assess fit, budget, decision-making authority, and purchasing timelines.
  • Convert MQLs to SQLs: Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations, then hand off qualified opportunities with clear summaries of customer pain points, stakeholders, and potential business value.
  • Research and target accounts: Develop account plans for organizations in insurance, healthcare, and financial services, and execute targeted outbound campaigns.
  • Build the business case: Support ROI models, competitive analyses, and concise proposals for qualified prospects.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy: Document sales activities, update lead statuses with appropriate reason codes, and maintain accurate pipeline data.
  • Share market insights: Communicate customer objections, emerging buyer needs, and competitor activity to marketing and product teams.
  • Achieve performance targets: Meet goals for meetings booked, MQL-to-SQL conversion rates, and qualified pipeline generated.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • An MBA completed in 2025 or expected in 2026. Concentrations in marketing, strategy, entrepreneurship, or technology are a plus.
  • A strong interest in B2B sales, artificial intelligence, and enterprise software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging prospects and senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers, including building basic ROI models and conducting market sizing in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • A coachable mindset, a proactive approach, and a drive to achieve measurable goals.
  • Internship, pre-MBA, or project experience in sales, consulting, business development, marketing, or other client-facing roles is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to insurance, healthcare, banking, or wealth management.
