Freelance Mobile App Reviewer and Finisher

• Duration: 4 weeks (extendable)
• Location: Remote, UAE time zone overlap preferred

About the Project

• A mobile app built with Expo/React Native, Node.js backend, and PostgreSQL database, hosted on Replit.
• Role: Review, thoroughly test, and prepare the existing app for launch. This is not a build-from-scratch project.

Key Responsibilities

• Test every feature end to end across all user roles and screens (sign-up, login, account management, messaging, notifications, settings).
• Review the backend: API routes, database design, authentication and authorization, data separation between users and roles, error handling, and performance.
• Security pass: dependency vulnerabilities, secrets handling, rate limiting, and input validation.
• Fix defects or document them clearly with steps to reproduce.
• Check release readiness: published build, Android and iOS test builds, and App Store / Play Store requirements.
• Deliver a final report with a prioritized list (must fix, should fix, nice to have) and launch recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React Native / Expo and a Node.js/TypeScript backend with PostgreSQL.
• A record of shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play.

• Experience with payment integrations
• Experience with push notifications

Deliverables

• A tested feature checklist (pass/fail per flow)
• Fixed bugs, or documented issues with reproduction steps
• Backend and security review notes
• Working Android and iOS test builds, with deployment steps
• A final prioritized recommendations report
