About the Role
The React Native Intern (Unpaid) will support the development of Cemzo’s mobile applications in a remote internship role. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced product environment while contributing to a growing construction technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing UI components in React Native.
- Fixing bugs.
- Assisting in integrating APIs and backend services.
- Collaborating with senior developers to test features.
- Troubleshooting issues.
- Contributing to performance and usability improvements.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Writing basic technical documentation.
- Learning best practices in mobile app development and deployment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational skills in React Native, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Foundational skills in mobile UI development.
- Skills in REST APIs, JSON handling.
- Skills in basic integration with backend services.
- Skills in debugging, troubleshooting issues.
- Skills in using version control tools such as Git.
- Skills in responsive design.
- Skills in cross-platform compatibility.
- Basic understanding of Android and iOS ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Capacity to learn quickly in a remote environment.
- Relevant coursework or personal projects in mobile or web development are highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Agile or collaborative development workflows is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
