About the Role

The position of Cashier at Payung Mitrajaya Mandiri is a full-time, on-site role located in Thrissur.

Key Responsibilities

• Careful processing of all cash register operations and payment transactions.
• Recording sales.
• Handling cash and electronic payment methods.
• Creating and reviewing daily closing reports.
• Proper documentation of transactions.
• Assisting customers with inquiries about invoices, payments, and basic service needs.
• Collaborating closely with the administrative or accounting team to ensure correct financial data.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in cash handling and basic accounting, including secure handling of cash, POS systems, and simple reconciliations.
• Basic IT skills, such as using cash register software, spreadsheets, and common office applications.

Qualifications

• Strong service and customer orientation, friendly demeanor with customers, and the ability to work calmly and structured, even during peak times.
• Meticulous work approach, high attention to detail, and reliability in documenting and reconciling payment transactions.
• Desirable: Initial work experience in a cashier or retail environment.
• Desirable: A degree in a commercial field.
