About the Role
MercyOne is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team in New Hampton, Iowa. This role offers an opportunity to care for friends, neighbors, and families while building your career close to home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiology exams, CT scans, and mammography.
- Support the efficient operation of the imaging department while ensuring exceptional patient care and quality outcomes.
- Provide compassionate care to patients across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Night and weekend call rotation (approximately every 4th weekend)
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Iowa Permit to Practice
- ARRT certification or eligibility to obtain required credentials within established department timeframes
- Commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements and professional certifications
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Completion of Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training within 6 months of hire
