About The Role

As a New Grad Product Designer at DoorDash, you will join a team shaping the future of design with AI integration. You will work on real projects impacting millions of users, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and ship improvements. You will be part of a core team and provided with a dedicated manager and mentor. This is a full-time role starting in 2027, with relocation support available.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and own design end-to-end, experimenting with AI in your work and process.
• Ship polished features reaching millions of users, merchants, and Dashers.
• Use AI to explore divergent ideas, build high-fidelity prototypes, and test concepts.
• Shape the product and process by contributing as part of an early class of new grads.
• Refine your craft in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and researchers.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design or technology-related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Digital Design, Industrial Design) by Summer 2027.
• Available to start full-time in 2027.
• Portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals: visual design, interaction design, and user-centered problem solving.
• Portfolio includes at least one case study demonstrating the application of AI in your design process or the design of an AI-powered experience.
• Proficiency in communicating through prototypes using Figma.
• Experience with AI-driven tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Eagerness to learn, comfort in making decisions or asking for help, and ability to iterate quickly.

Compensation

• National base pay range: $105,400—$155,000 USD.
• Actual compensation will be based on factors including skills, prior relevant experience, and work location.
