About the Role
MedQuest Imaging, a partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant to join their growing Mobile MRI Team. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region, supporting MRI operations at multiple healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and non-technical duties related to workflow efficiency.
- Assist the Technologist with patient preparation and exam completion.
- Start and remove IVs.
- Screen patients prior to exam.
- Assist patients with completing electronic paperwork.
- Obtain medical history from patients.
- Escort patients to changing rooms and ensure appropriate attire.
- Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room.
- Assist the Technologist in preparing the MRI table (e.g., coil selection, changing linen).
- Maintain linen inventory.
- Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by the Radiologist.
- Serve as a liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or NHA), Registered Medical Assistant certification (AMT or ARMA), or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M)
- CPR certification

- Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience
