User Interface Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to collaborate with our team on the design and improvement of Yaara’s mobile application. The ideal candidate should understand how to translate user needs into intuitive, visually appealing, and functional digital experiences. This is a contract-based opportunity suited to someone who enjoys meaningful projects, creative problem-solving, and working in a growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly mobile application interfaces.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Develop and maintain consistent visual components and design systems.
• Improve existing screens based on user experience principles and feedback.
• Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, colors, and interactions.
• Consider accessibility, usability, and responsive design.
• Deliver organized design files and documentation for development handoff.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience designing mobile applications.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing wellness, lifestyle, or consumer applications.
• Understanding of user-centered design and accessibility.
• Experience collaborating with mobile application developers.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
