About the Role

Lexicon MILE Pune, Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DHMCT), is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused hospitality professional to join its academic team as an Assistant Professor. This role involves teaching subjects within the respective stream, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to academic excellence and industry-oriented learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and Academic Delivery:
• Conduct practical training, demonstrations, and role-play sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and academic records.
• Mentor students for internships, placements, and career development.
• Organize industry visits, guest lectures, workshops, and academic events.
• Manage laboratory activities and hospitality simulations.
• Participate in curriculum development, research, and institutional activities.
• Ensure effective classroom management and student engagement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of procedures and operations of the respective stream.
• Ability to conduct practical training and student mentoring.
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
