About Us

Widespread Capital is an investor relations and fintech marketing firm. We work with US-listed companies (primarily Nasdaq and OTC markets) to connect them with engaged investors through partnerships with online investing communities on Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to expand our network of community partners. This role involves researching online investing communities, assessing their activity and authenticity, connecting with administrators, and gathering essential details for sponsored content partnerships.

This is a hands-on position focused on partnership marketing, outreach, and lead qualification. You will utilize our team dashboard, manage your own list of communities, and directly contribute to successful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Research: Join assigned communities to evaluate their quality, checking for genuine member conversations versus ad-posting or bot activity.
  • Outreach: Identify and professionally engage with community administrators or decision-makers.
  • Partnership Discovery: Gather information on:
  • Previous sponsored posts about US stocks, including examples (links or screenshots) and dates.
  • Existing partnerships with other media or marketing agencies.
  • Pricing for sponsored posts and package inclusions (post length, platform, pinning, duration).
  • Lead Management: Accurately record all findings in the team dashboard checklist.
  • Handover: Mark qualified communities as ready for negotiation and pass them to the team lead.
  • Professional Communication: Adhere to community rules, avoid spam, and refrain from promising prices, budgets, or deals, as final approval rests with our team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Good written English and confident, friendly communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and honest in reporting.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently remotely.
  • Available 4–5 hours per day.

A plus: Interest in marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, or the stock market.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in partnership and community marketing.
  • Practical skills in outreach, cold messaging, lead qualification, and basic negotiation.
  • An inside look at fintech and investor marketing.
  • Real responsibility from day one, with clear, measurable results.
  • A potential path to a full-time role.

Compensation

  • Stipend: ₹3,000–5,000 per month (for 3–5 months).
  • Performance Bonus: Up to ₹2,000 after the first month, based on performance.
  • Full-time Offer: ₹3–4 LPA after the internship, based on performance.

How Performance Is Measured

  • Number of communities researched and joined.
  • Number of administrators reached.
  • Communities handed over with complete, accurate details.
  • Partnerships that reach an agreement.
