About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and motivated new graduate Occupational Therapists for a home health position in Springfield, MO. This role offers a structured orientation, dedicated clinical support, and experienced mentors to help transition from academia to independent practice while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
