As a Chemistry Teacher (m/f/d), you will impart subject matter content in chemistry in an understandable and practical manner to learners of different levels.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and structuring of teaching units.
• Conducting theoretical and, if applicable, practical lessons.
• Preparation and evaluation of assessments.
• Fostering a learning-friendly, respectful atmosphere.
• Supporting individual learning progress.
• Collaborating with colleagues to further develop teaching materials and methods.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Didactic and pedagogical competencies: Experience in teaching, skills in imparting learning content, and in promoting learning (Teaching).
• Subject matter expertise in natural sciences: Solid knowledge in Chemistry and, if possible, a good understanding of Physics (Chemistry Education, Physics).
• Lesson preparation and structure: Ability to plan lessons efficiently, create materials, and implement the curriculum in a learning objective-oriented manner (Lesson Planning).
• Communication skills: Clear and audience-appropriate communication, providing feedback, and maintaining appreciative, inclusive communication with learners and colleagues (Communication).

Qualifications

• A relevant academic degree in Chemistry or natural sciences is desirable.
• Experience in the school or university sector is desirable.
• Organizational skills are desirable.
• Willingness for continuous professional and pedagogical development is desirable.
