About the Role
Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Sporting Goods & Automotive Sales Clerk to join our team. This role focuses on building, promoting, and delivering a high degree of customer service, while also managing inventory and merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and friendly service to customers.
- Accurately handle customer transactions, including age-restricted merchandise, at the sporting goods counter.
- Replenish inventory.
- Stock merchandise.
- Perform cashiering duties.
- Maintain merchandise.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to be precise, set priorities, and organize workload.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to offer solutions to customers.
- Capability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail positions is a plus.
- Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with camping and other outdoor hobbies are valued.
Schedule
- Store hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm, Saturday - Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
- Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.
