About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineer intern will provide technical support focusing on Manufacturing projects, assisting the Engineering department from scope definition through implementation. This is an on-site position requiring 40 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide internal customer technical support
- Provide part manufacturability technical support
- Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets served
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring devices
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Internship Details
- On-site position in Coon Rapids, MN or Anoka, MN.
- Work 40 hours/week.
