About the Role
Shanti Audio Live is seeking a Sound Engineer for a full-time, remote position. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality audio for live and virtual events.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and configuring audio systems.
- Selecting and positioning microphones.
- Managing sound levels.
- Performing real-time mixing and monitoring during events.
- Troubleshooting audio issues.
- Collaborating with performers, presenters, and production teams.
- Maintaining clear documentation of setups and workflows.
- Contributing to sound design elements.
- Optimizing acoustics for different environments.
- Helping refine audio standards and best practices.

- Proficiency with digital audio workstations, mixing consoles, and audio processing tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams and clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work calmly under live-event pressure.
- Prior experience in live sound, broadcast, or event production.
- Relevant certifications or a degree in audio or a related field are beneficial.
