Data Annotator

About the Role

The Data Annotator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. In this role, the team member will review and label data (such as text, images, audio, or video) according to detailed guidelines to support machine learning and AI model development.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand annotation requirements.
• Apply consistent tags and categories.
• Validate data quality.
• Correct errors where needed.
• Collaborate with project leads.
• Follow standardized workflows.
• Meet productivity and accuracy targets.
• Provide feedback to improve annotation instructions and processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic computer literacy, including comfort with web-based tools, spreadsheets, and data entry interfaces.
• Willingness to learn new annotation tools, guidelines, and domain-specific concepts as projects change.

Qualifications

• Ability to carefully follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail in repetitive tasks.
• Strong analytical and observation skills to interpret data accurately and apply consistent labels.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to report issues, share feedback, and collaborate with the team.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet daily or weekly targets.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, or data-driven technologies; prior exposure to these areas is a plus.
• Minimum educational background such as a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in any field is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune City and commit to a full-time schedule.
