About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Food Services Assistant PRN to join HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine duties related to food preparation and serving.
- Prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
- Operate the dishwasher or assist with washing and sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Clean kitchen work areas, and collect and dispose of garbage.
- Assist with food stocking.
- Serve food in the cafeteria for visitors and staff, and in patient rooms.
- Work in the dish room when needed.
- Work on the patient tray assembly line, following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
