About the Role
MNA Studios is a forward-thinking music studio agency specializing in direct-to-consumer (D2C) audio and branding solutions. We focus on high-quality sound, innovation, and delivering industry-grade content across multiple genres and platforms. We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Mixing & Mastering Intern who wants hands-on experience in audio production. You will work closely with experienced engineers to refine tracks and achieve professional sound quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Mixing
- Assist in mixing multi-track sessions.
- Balance levels, EQ, and dynamics.
- Apply creative effects and automation.
- Mastering
- Prepare final masters for streaming platforms.
- Learn loudness normalization and stereo imaging.
- Maintain consistency across releases.
- Technical Setup & Troubleshooting
- Work with DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and FL Studio.
- Assist with plugins, routing, and signal chains.
- Troubleshoot audio-related issues.
- Creative Collaboration
- Work with producers, composers, and vocalists.
- Understand and implement creative feedback.
- Project Organization
- Manage session files and backups.
- Assist with audio exports and metadata tagging.
Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of mixing and mastering.
- Familiarity with EQs, compressors, and limiters.
- Understanding of different music genres.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for sound.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Information
- This is a 3-month unpaid internship.
- A Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation will be provided.
