Quality Control Engineer

About the Role

YAMARI INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer in Chennai. The role focuses on ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality products and solutions by emphasizing strong quality standards and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of materials and finished products.
• Verify compliance with technical specifications.
• Document test results.
• Monitor production processes.
• Identify non-conformities.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in maintaining and improving quality control procedures.
• Support internal audits.
• Help implement quality management standards.
• Prepare reports.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including inspection, testing, and documentation of products and processes.
• Quality Management capabilities, including familiarity with quality standards, process improvement, and corrective and preventive action frameworks.
• Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes of issues, and recommend practical solutions.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for reporting findings, coordinating with teams, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field) is beneficial.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of statistical quality tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic lean or Six Sigma concepts is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with measurement instruments is an advantage.
