Associate Analyst, TAX

About the Role

This role is an Associate Analyst within the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) TAX practice, focusing on International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) and Transfer Pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and reports, including the analysis of related-party/international transactions.
• Conduct functional, asset, and risk (FAR) analyses to understand client business operations and transaction profiles.
• Perform economic and benchmarking analyses for various international transactions, identifying and analyzing comparable companies/transactions.
• Undertake company, industry, and economic research using publicly available information and relevant research/commercial databases.
• Review financial statements, annual reports, and other financial information; assist in financial analysis, margin computations, and adjustments.
• Perform comparability analyses, including reviewing business descriptions and financial information of potential comparable companies.
• Support the team in preparing transfer pricing analyses and documentation in accordance with applicable Indian transfer pricing regulations and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
• Assist engagement teams in gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial and business information from clients.
• Prepare clear and well-structured working papers, supporting computations, and research documentation.
• Coordinate with team members and provide timely updates on assigned deliverables.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of developments in transfer pricing, international taxation, and relevant regulatory guidance.
• Support senior team members on other transfer pricing assignments and client deliverables, as required.
