Software Engineer Intern

About the Role

WE3Lytix is seeking motivated interns interested in software development, data technologies, and artificial intelligence. This internship offers hands-on experience contributing to practical projects, collaborating with team members, and learning modern development practices. Interns may contribute to one or more of the following areas based on their skills, interests, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:
• Develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Work with technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Test, debug, and improve application functionality and performance.
• Backend Development:
• Develop backend services, APIs, and application logic.
• Work with databases, data models, and third-party integrations.
• Assist with authentication, application security, and performance optimisation.
• Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Full Stack Development:
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development.
• Build application features involving user interfaces, APIs, and databases.
• Integrate external services and implement application functionality.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and improving software quality.
• Data Engineering and Analytics:
• Assist in building data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Work with databases, data processing, and transformation workflows.
• Support data analysis, visualisation, and reporting.
• Contribute to data-driven applications, dashboards, and analytics systems.
• AI Application Development:
• Assist in developing applications that integrate AI and machine learning capabilities.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI APIs, and automation tools.
• Contribute to AI-powered applications, chatbots, and intelligent business solutions.
• Support data preparation, AI integration, testing, and application development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or possessing equivalent practical skills.
• Basic understanding of programming, software development, data technologies, or AI, depending on the chosen specialisation.
• Familiarity with relevant programming languages, frameworks, databases, or development tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to project requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, or personal development projects is an advantage.
• Previous professional experience is not mandatory. Academic projects, personal projects, and practical demonstrations of technical skills are welcome.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid internship based in Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, India, combining remote work with in-person collaboration as required.
