AI Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Video Editor excited about building high-quality videos using the latest AI tools. This hands-on role is for someone who enjoys experimenting, testing new workflows, comparing outputs, and figuring out how to create polished videos faster. You will work on AI-powered video creation, tool experimentation, video workflows, editing quality, and production speed.

The ideal person is curious, fast-moving, creative, and comfortable figuring things out independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Experiment with AI video generation and editing tools
• Build and improve workflows for creating high-quality videos
• Test different tools and compare video output quality
• Create videos from scripts, prompts, references, and ideas
• Work on visual quality, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and overall polish
• Research new AI video tools and identify what works best
• Help create repeatable processes for faster video production
• Collaborate with the team to turn concepts into finished videos quickly

Requirements

• Strong interest in AI-powered video creation
• Good eye for visuals, storytelling, pacing, and editing quality
• Comfortable experimenting with new tools and learning fast
• Ability to take an idea and turn it into a usable video output
• Basic understanding of video editing, composition, and creative workflows
• Self-driven mindset with a bias toward shipping fast
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Good to Have

• Experience with AI tools for video, images, voice, avatars, or editing
• Familiarity with tools like Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
• Ability to write good prompts for video and visual generation
• Basic design sense
• Experience creating short-form content, product videos, ads, explainers, or social media videos
