This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located at Target Optical in Phoenix, AZ. The Salesperson provides personalized service to guests by greeting them, understanding their vision and style needs, and guiding them through product selection.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with frame and lens choices.
• Explain promotions and product features.
• Support guests through the purchasing process.
• Maintain an organized, clean sales floor.
• Handle basic point-of-sale transactions.
• Collaborate with optical team members to ensure a seamless experience.
• Meet individual and store sales goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic point-of-sale and cash handling skills.
• Comfort with using retail systems and following standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and create a positive in-store experience.
• Sales and retail skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Communication skills, with clear, friendly verbal communication and the ability to explain product options and value in simple terms.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain product displays, ensure accurate orders, and support store cleanliness.
• Interest in fashion and eyewear, with willingness to learn about frames, lenses, and vision care products.
• Previous retail, customer service, or optical experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
