Java Developer Intern

About the Role

• This is a full-time remote internship for a Java Developer Intern at Crossing Infotech.
• The internship is located in India and is suitable for freshers and students.
• Duration: 1 to 3 months.
• Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, and well-documented Java code for assigned tasks.
• Develop and test backend modules and REST APIs using Spring Boot with guidance from the team.
• Write SQL queries to store, fetch, and update data in databases.
• Use JDBC or Hibernate to connect Java applications with databases.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Debug code, fix errors, and improve the performance of existing applications.
• Write basic unit tests using JUnit and assist with code reviews.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Java (OOP concepts, collections, exception handling).
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, or Maven.
• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of JSON and Postman.
• Any Java project, course, or certification.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in Java development.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
