Running Lab, a locally-owned business established in Brighton in 2011, is dedicated to assisting customers in the fitness community. Our primary goal is to provide tailored solutions for our customers, ensuring they can move comfortably. Whether they are a runner, walker, or simply in need of high-quality footwear for everyday use, Running Lab is here to serve them and make them feel their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Helping customers select running or walking shoes and related products, ensuring an optimal fit within their budget.
• Establishing strong connections with customers, aiming to create a memorable shopping experience that encourages repeat business.
• Responding to customer needs and inquiries.
• Demonstrating excellent product knowledge.
• Presenting a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Passion for running, walking, health, and fitness.
• Understanding of sales principles and commitment to superior customer service.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, dedicated to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating multitasking skills with minimal supervision.
• Physical dexterity for tasks such as unpacking shipments, arranging store fixtures, and lifting packages up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in using technology, including a PC and electronic cash register.

Qualifications

• Associates must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience is a bonus, especially in specialty running, or apparel sales (but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available

Pay Range: Starting at $14.50 up to $20 per hour
