Quality Engineer Intern - Summer 2027
About the Role
Cretex Medical is a family of companies providing manufacturing and engineering services to medical device OEMs, offering end-to-end capabilities, the latest technologies, and skilled talent. This internship will focus on providing technical support for Quality-related projects, assisting the Engineering department from scope definition through implementation. The position is located in Bloomington, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide internal customer technical support.
- Provide part manufacturability technical support.
- Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets served.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring devices.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- Ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Internship Locations
Internships are available in the Minneapolis/St. Paul (Minnesota) metro area, including Elk River, Brooklyn Park, Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Anoka, and Dassel. Specify location preference in the job application.
Pay Range
USD $25.00 - USD $25.00 / Hr.
