Job Title: Cashier Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases accurately and courteously using a point-of-sale system.
• Verifies, renews, upgrades, and offers various membership products.
• Scans merchandise and collects payments via cash, check, or other charge methods.
• Issues receipts and provides correct change.
• Assists members with self-checkout stations and resolves technical difficulties.
• Stays informed about merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.
• Redeems coupons to apply discounts.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the front-line department and assists with general club housekeeping.
• Returns re-sellable merchandise to the sales floor.
• Meets cashier productivity expectations.
• Adheres to all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
• Maintains a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ensures a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Point-of-sale (POS) system usage.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools is recognized.
