About the Role
- Listen to audio and analyze the transcript based on guidelines.
- Tasks include writing in lowercase, adding appropriate tags for filled pauses and backchannels, catching mis-transcriptions, and ensuring every word is transcribed correctly.
- This is a detail-heavy and quiet role, suitable for those who enjoy careful, focused tasks with a good ear for language.
- Fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Listening to audio and checking transcripts against spoken content.
- Correcting missing or extra words and transcription errors.
- Applying detailed annotation guidelines consistently across large volumes of work.
- Flagging unclear audio, edge cases, and situations not covered by guidelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Laptop or desktop computer (work cannot be done on a phone or tablet).
- Headphones and a quiet environment.
- Strong English writing and comprehension skills.
- Comfort reading detailed guidelines and identifying subtle wording differences.
Qualifications
- Prior AI annotation experience in Transcription or a relevant field is required.
- Training and guidelines are provided.
Pay: Fixed monthly salary from INR 25,000 to 35,000, depending on scope and quality of work.
