Data Analyst

About the Role

Marqetron Technologies Pvt Ltd develops intelligent operating layers that help organizations decide what to do next, rather than just report what happened. The company connects enterprise data, business rules, AI reasoning, workflows, and human approvals into a unified, decision-focused platform. The Data Analyst role is a full-time, remote position responsible for turning complex enterprise data into clear insights that support intelligent decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple systems.
• Build reports and dashboards.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define metrics, and translate business questions into analytical tasks.
• Document methodologies.
• Present findings in a clear, accessible format.
• Contribute to improving data quality, governance, and analytical workflows.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• SQL proficiency.
• Proficiency in at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical methods to solve business problems.
• Experience in Data Modeling, including designing schemas and structuring data for reporting and analysis.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality practices, and working with enterprise systems or ERP data is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
