Product Design Engineer

About the Role

A Business Studio, founded in 2021, helps organizations scale by providing an integrated business ecosystem and vetted staffing solutions. The company focuses on financial strategy and operational consulting to streamline workflows and support sustainable growth.

The Product Design Engineer will work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area in a full-time capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools.
• Conduct design reviews.
• Ensure manufacturability and performance of components and assemblies.
• Participate in product development cycles.
• Test prototypes.
• Analyze results and implement design improvements based on engineering principles and user requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders to align design specifications with cost, quality, and timeline goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D/3D modeling and detailing.
• Experience in end-to-end Product Development, from concept through prototyping to production.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM), design validation, and working with suppliers or fabrication partners is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
• Solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge and understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering discipline.
