Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

The Mechanical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves designing mechanical components and assemblies for conveyor systems and robotic automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for conveyor systems and robotic automation solutions.
• Use CAD tools to develop detailed models and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust mechanical designs.
• Perform basic calculations and feasibility assessments.
• Support prototype development and testing.
• Update design documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams.
• Address technical issues during production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and systems.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
• Skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial systems.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in conveyor systems, industrial automation, or robotics is highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, prepare engineering documentation, and work closely with manufacturing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.
