About the Role

This is a full-time, remote internship opportunity for students and freshers interested in building a career in software testing and quality assurance. Interns will work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.

Job Details

• Duration: 1 to 3 months
• Employment Type: Full Time (Internship)

Key Responsibilities

• Manually test websites, web applications, and mobile apps to identify bugs and usability issues.
• Write clear test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on given requirements.
• Execute test cases, record results, and report defects with detailed steps and screenshots.
• Track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello until resolution and retesting.
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and functional testing on new releases.
• Assist in creating basic automation test scripts using Selenium under team guidance.
• Test APIs using Postman and verify data using simple SQL queries.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks punctually.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts: SDLC, STLC, test cases, bug life cycle.
• Understanding of manual testing types: functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium or any test automation tool.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools: Jira or similar.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Candidates must have a laptop/computer and a stable internet connection.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Postman, API testing, and basic SQL.
• Basic understanding of Java or Python for automation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Git.
• Any software testing course, certification (ISTQB), or project experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc, or related fields.
• Freshers interested in software testing and quality assurance.
