About the Role
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical. You will be determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions. This involves optimizing working capital, providing real-time visibility and end-to-end management of revenue and cash flow, and streamlining billing processes. The Cash Application Processing team focuses on solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with customers. The role requires a good understanding of cash applications, the process of applying unapplied cash, reconciliation of suspense accounts in cash application, and processing from payment receipt to finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and deposit customer payments.
- Apply cash remittances and credit adjustments.
- Maintain bad debt reserves and allowances.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable reporting.
- Post and reconcile Accounts Receivable activity to the general ledger.
- Solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
- Work as an individual contributor as part of a team with a predetermined, focused scope of work.
