Project Engineer - Land Development
About the Role
NV5 is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Land Development group. This role focuses on the preparation of design aspects of a total work product and is not construction management-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of designs and reports
- Performing calculations
- CADD/Civil 3D use
- Maintain familiarity with applicable WMD, FDEP, local codes, and requirements and ensure compliance
- Communicating with project team(s), clients, and agencies
- Perform site visits as needed
- Attend external meetings
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for design activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering
- Up to three years of experience with transportation design
- Must have the ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduation
- Must pass mandatory DMV check
