About the Role
Laneway is seeking Video Editing Interns for a remote internship role. Interns will support the media and marketing team by editing video content for social media, digital campaigns, and presentations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize raw footage.
- Assemble rough and final cuts.
- Apply basic color corrections.
- Add motion graphics or titles.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and formats.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and consultants to refine visual narratives.
- Follow creative briefs and meet project timelines.
- Assist in experimenting with new video formats and styles to improve audience engagement.
- Support client-facing media deliverables.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Skills in Video Color Grading.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
- Basic familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow creative direction.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant coursework, portfolio projects, or prior internship experience in media, film, design, or related fields is an advantage.
