About the Role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to support our digital communication and social media activities. This is a 3-month paid internship offering hands-on experience in social media, content creation, digital communication, and brand storytelling. Based on performance, contribution, and organizational requirements, the internship may lead to a full-time, on-roll opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and publish engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Develop social media posts, captions, creatives, reels, and other digital content.
• Support planning and execution of social media campaigns and initiatives.
• Research relevant trends, topics, hashtags, and content ideas.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect stories, updates, photographs, and impact-related content.
• Maintain and update the social media content calendar.
• Monitor social media engagement and support basic performance reporting.
• Support event promotions, campaigns, announcements, and other communication activities.
• Ensure content is professional, inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the organization's brand.
• Assist with other communication and content-related activities as required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other content-creation tools.
• Personal laptop required.
• Ability to work from office in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Creativity and an ability to develop engaging content.
• Interest in storytelling, digital communication, and the social impact sector.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Willingness to travel or support events when required.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are expected.
• Prior experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing is an advantage but not mandatory.
