About the Role

The Interior Designer will work on full-time, on-site projects at the Ahmedabad studio, collaborating closely with architects and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts.
• Prepare mood boards.
• Select materials and finishes.
• Coordinate FF&E specifications.
• Perform space planning for various project types.
• Create detailed drawings.
• Assist with construction documentation.
• Ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
• Participate in client meetings.
• Present design ideas.
• Incorporate feedback.
• Support site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Ability to plan functional layouts and optimize Space Planning.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination between architectural and interior design elements.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related documentation.
• Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and detailing.
• Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in an architectural or design firm is beneficial.
