About the Role

Restaurant cashiers at Love's Travel Stops are vital in providing efficient and friendly customer service within a fast-paced environment. This role involves maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, accurately processing payments, and ensuring high-quality food service. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general customer service duties, including taking food orders, answering menu questions, and addressing customer needs.
• Balance a cash register and identify opportunities for additional sales.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and safely from various kitchen stations, such as a sandwich making line, fry station, or grill station.
• Utilize diverse methods and technologies to maintain proper food safety conditions and ensure product freshness and safety.
• Potential for cross-training in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
• Capability to work in various temperatures.
