About the Role

The Registered Nurse role at Khandelwal Hospital is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent nursing registration recognized in India.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient care needs.
• Demonstrated ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and culturally sensitive patient care.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career candidates.
