About the Role
This is an internship opportunity within State Farm's Property & Casualty Claims Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn claim handling skills, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and applying policies.
- Work alongside expert claims teams on medical, property, liability, and injury claims.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Work Arrangement: HYBRID
- Hub Locations: Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; Bloomington, IL
- Internship Dates: June 2, 2027 - August 11, 2027
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Pay: $24.00/hour
- Stipend: $2,000
- Eligibility: Must be a full-time student currently enrolled throughout the duration of the internship.
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor for U.S. work authorization.
Qualifications
- Students majoring in Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other majors aligning with Claims' business needs.
- Passionate team players with sharp critical thinking, sound decision-making skills, excellent communication, keen attention to detail, and a strong customer focus.
- Must be entering sophomore, junior, or senior year.
- Graduating in December 2027, May 2028, or May 2029.
