About the Role
Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Spanish-speaking Financial Analyst to support the Financial Restructuring team in Los Angeles, focusing on deals in the LATAM region. This role involves assisting with a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings
- Debt and equity financings
- Distressed M&A advisory services
- Special-situation principal investing
- Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of clients
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Spanish native fluency – both verbal and written
- At least 6 months of relevant working experience in investment banking/restructuring
- A B.A./B.S./B.B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics
- Coursework in accounting and finance
Qualifications
- Strong financial and computer skills
- Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
