Technical Support Associate

About the Role

The Technical Support Associate will be at the forefront of the Gong customer experience, creating #ravingfans by providing an exceptional and consultative support experience for customers. Support Associates are proactive, innovative, and empowered to solve customer challenges of today while thinking strategically to delight customers long-term. This role operates on a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days a week in the Lehi, UT office.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding support experience via email and scheduled calls for customers using Gong products, while meeting key performance goals.
• Learn the ins and outs of Gong products and build expertise with common integrations, such as telephony systems, web conferencing tools, Salesforce, and APIs.
• Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, help identify potential bugs, test solutions, and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders.
• Represent the Voice of the Customer with Success, Sales, and Product teams to influence priorities, resources, roadmaps, and deliverables.
• Contribute to creating resources—like documentation, training materials, or process guides—that help both customers and teammates succeed.

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and friendly way.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
• Curious, resourceful, detail-oriented, and organized, with a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a technical degree and interested in growing your career in technical support.
• Familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Dialpad, GoToMeeting, or other telephony/web conferencing tools is a plus.
• Exposure to Salesforce, APIs, or programming/scripting languages is a bonus, but not required—just bring your eagerness to learn.

Compensation

• Hourly range: $26.45 - $32.70 USD.
• Total compensation package may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits.
