About the Role
The Quality Engineer will support production and engineering teams to ensure products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements at the Bengaluru facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality.
- Conduct inspections and tests.
- Analyze defects and nonconformities.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and improve quality management systems.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Prepare documentation such as control plans, work instructions, and quality reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, process improvements, and standardization.
- Provide training and guidance on quality procedures to production staff.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in using measurement tools.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in basic quality software or ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering, including application of quality tools and methodologies.
- Experience in Quality Control activities such as inspections, testing, and monitoring of production processes.
- Background in Quality Assurance practices, including audits, documentation, and compliance with standards.
- Capability to manage Product Quality through defect analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and frameworks (e.g., ISO standards) and continuous improvement principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional manufacturing teams.
- Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments is beneficial.
