About the Role

The Daycare Teacher role at Mount Olympus Juniors is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role focuses on supervising and caring for children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities, games, and creative projects that support early childhood development.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Assist with meals and rest times.
• Monitor children’s social and behavioral progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
• Document observations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and events.
• Follow all daycare policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in day care settings, including managing groups of young children and ensuring a safe, structured environment.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for supporting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members in a clear, respectful, and collaborative manner.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development, plan lesson activities, and create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Proven childcare skills, including patience, empathy, behavior guidance, and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Basic first aid and CPR knowledge, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to stand, move, and actively participate in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
