About the Role

MicDrop! Advertising is a dynamic Advertising, Design, and Digital Marketing agency serving B2C and B2B clients across India and international markets. The Social Media Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhilai. The intern will support day-to-day social media activities, including creating content for various platforms, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement and community interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day social media activities.
• Create content for various platforms.
• Schedule posts.
• Monitor engagement and community interactions.
• Research trends.
• Assist in campaign planning.
• Draft captions and copy.
• Collaborate with the design and digital marketing teams to align content with campaign goals.
• Help track basic performance metrics.
• Contribute ideas for improving reach and engagement.
• Maintain brand voice and consistency across channels.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and current content trends.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhilai.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Familiarity with design or content tools (e.g., Canva, basic photo/video editing) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing.
• Skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing.
• Strong Communication skills for clear writing, collaboration with team members, and professional client interactions.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
• A strong interest in advertising and digital marketing is beneficial.
