About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment.
- Monitoring network performance.
- Diagnosing and resolving connectivity and latency issues.
- Ensuring network security policies are applied consistently.
- Collaborating with IT and security teams to design and optimize network architectures.
- Supporting upgrades and migrations.
- Documenting configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Participating in capacity planning and system audits.
- Introducing new network technologies to improve reliability and scalability.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design.
- Solid Network Administration skills for routers, switches, and related network devices.
- Effective Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Network Security (firewalls, access controls, VPNs).
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and wireless networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
